We encourage consistent attendance. It is HIGHLY recommended that you attend each class. The curriculum is ongoing and cumulative. If a student misses too many classes, he/she will fall behind and become frustrated.
We understand conflicts or illness may cause absences so we’ve put this policy into place.
Dancers may make-up missed classes in another class that is chosen by the instructor. You will need to sign up for a make-up class at the front desk so it can be approved. Classes that are not made up will be forfeited.
All students are expected to arrive on time and in the appropriate attire. We understand that sometimes circumstances may cause a delay. If you are more than 10 minutes late, you may be asked to sit and watch the class. Classes are designed to warm up muscles slowly and properly. Jumping into a class that has already started may cause injury. If you are tardy, please see the instructor, apologize for your late arrival and ask him/her whether you can join the class or watch. Please respect your instructor’s decision in this matter; they are only looking out for the student’s best interest.
Due to the layout of the facility, we recommend that each student arrive 5 to 10 minutes early. Students who are preschool and elementary school age will not be permitted to leave the building without a parent or guardian. Students who are in junior high or high school age must wait inside until their ride arrives.
Please give a 2 week written notice, when withdrawing a student from a class.
